Hello,

The minimum eligibility to join for MBA in India is an undergraduate degree with 50% marks from any recognized university and candidate should have secure good percentile in CAT, MAT, CMAT and XAT or admission seeking institutes entrance test( LPUNEST, SRMJEEM). So as considering your mark, you won't be able to join for MBA, if you can improve the marks more than 50% then you will be eligible.

Hope this information will help you. Best wishes.

Good Luck!

Hello Sonal ,

The eligibility criteria for the MBA entrances is minimum 50% marks. If you are from a reserved category , you will get a relaxation of 5 % and will be eligible at 45% as well.  So , if you are from a reserved category , you will be able to get a good college with good MAT score.

llo Shubham,
Unfortunately you can't give MBA related CAT,NMAT, SNAP exams because most of the exams usually have 50% as their eligibility criteria and for category its 45% ( Most of) .
I would suggest you that if you are passionate to get a good college to pursue your higher studies, try to give re-exam of your last sem and score more so that your average boosts up above 50%.

Remember, Where there is a will ; there is a way !

MAT Exam did not require minm educational qualifications.

( Best colleges through MAT are XIME-B, WESCHOOL-M, IFIM, SIES, BIMTECH -RM )

Keep Learning , Keep Growing
Hope your doubts are cleared.

All the best for your future.

Hi Sonal,

As per the eligibility criteria of MAT, you need to be a graduate in any discipline. Final year graduation students can also apply. There is no minimum percentage required to apply for MAT. So, you can apply for MAT September or December exam as per your convenience.

Second, MAT score is accepted by around 600 B-schools across the country. Some of the top B-schools in the list are XIME Bengaluru, NIT Warangal, IFIM Bengaluru, IISWBM Kolkata, ITM Mumbai, Jaipuria Institute of Management Jaipur & Noida, BIMTECH Greater Noida, Chitkara UniversityIMS Ghaziabad, JIMS Delhi, SRM University, UPES Dehradun, Christ University, IPE Hyderabad, VIT University, etc.

List of MAT Participating Institutes

Every institute has different selection process but they all accept MAT scores to shortlist candidates for the selection rounds which may include WAT (writing test), GD and PI.

MAT exam 5 sections carrying 200 MCQs to be solved in 150 minutes. The difficulty level of the exam is not very high which actually depends on your preparation. You can prepare for the exam with the help of the sample question papers. Download free solved MAT question papers here -

But the top b schools or any b school which acceps mat score and has the eligibility criteria of 50% will first check  if have scored 50% or not and then proceed with my mat marks and if I have good mat score but less than 50% in graduation then I won't be eligible to get an admission right?

Hello,

Based on your graduation score you have a bit low chances of getting admission in to MBA colleges of India as your score is very low in graduatio. However, you can still try.
