Respected sir,
There are always instances of dissatisfaction when it comes to your exam results. You always feel that you had done much better and deserved a higher score. However, there are also cases when students feel that they could’ve done better in the examination. To give such students, who are desirous of performing better in the second attempt, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the CBSE Improvement Exam to give the students a chance to re-appear in one or more subjects in the succeeding year’s board examinations. The students can take the CBSE Improvement Exam as private candidates in the main examination, which means that they do not have to attend regular school to be eligible for appearing in the improvement exam.
Students have an option to take the improvement exam for one or all of the passing subjects but not in the additional subjects and the subjects in which they have been declared as ‘failed’. It is strongly recommended that students appear in all five subjects because of JEE rules regarding the improvement exam.
A candidate appearing for the improvement exam in one or more subjects cannot appear for additional subject simultaneously.
In it always the higher percentage is taken.
Thank you
If you gave the improvement exam than the highest percentage marks will be considered.
