I would like you to know about the courses first.
BE Computer Science, which is, Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, is a 4 year UG program in the study of the application of engineering tools in Computer Science. This course deals with the design, maintenance, construction, and operation of both computer hardware and software. It is basically the interaction of modern Computer Science and Technologies that have evolved in developing modern computer systems using engineering tools. You will also need good communication skills, and decision-making skills so that you can work in a team of design and development.
Eligibility: 10+2 in Science stream with an aggregate of 50% or equivalent GPA.
While, BSc IT, which is, Bachelor of Science in IT, is a 3 year UG program. It is basically about storing, processing, securing, and managing information. Software development, software testing, software engineering, web design, database management systems, computer programming, computer networking, and computer systems are the main subjects you will be learning. You should also possess problem-solving skills and critical-thinking skills for this course.
Eligibility: 10+2 with Science Stream and a minimum score of 50%
All I want to say is that, if you are more interested in both computer hardware and software subjects, and also good in communication, you can go for BE Computer Science by investing 4 years of time.
Whereas, if you want to learn only about the core concepts of Computer Science, you can go for BSc IT, which is only for 3 years.
It completely depends on you, what field you have your personal interest in, and in accordance with that, which course you want to study.
