I just wanted to do my master in mass communication and journalism from central university...please provide me details and pattern..

There are about 50 Central Universities, and admission process differs from university to university. So, first of all you would have to decide from which university you want to do this course. CUCET could be an option for taking admission to various Integrated/Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research Programmes offered by Central Universities of Haryana, Jharkhand, Jammu, Karnataka, Kashmir, Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan, South Bihar and Tamil Nadu along with Bengaluru Dr B.R. Ambedkar School of Economics. School of Journalism, DU offers a Five Year Integrated Program in Journalism, AJK Mass Communication Research Center , Jamia Millia Islamia offers 5 MA programmes related with Mass communication. Central University of Rajasthan Also offers a similar course with name of MA Culture & Media Studies .

Dear Aashish, Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is conducted for admission to various Integrated/Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research Programmes offered by Central Universities of Haryana, Jharkhand, Jammu, Karnataka, Kashmir, Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan, South Bihar and Tamil Nadu along with Bengaluru Dr B.R. Ambedkar School of Economics. Visit the official website and click on ‘Apply Online’ tab to register for the programme. After clicking, candidates will be able to see three programs options- UG, PG and RP. Click on the link you wish to apply for. The online applications will start tentatively from February 2019. For the CUCET 2019 eligibility criteria of the course, candidates need to refer to the participating University for which they are applying for. This is because the eligibility criteria of a course may be different for the different participating universities. Therefore, candidates are advised to refer and check the eligibility criteria of the course they are applying for from each participating University before filling the application form. The question paper of CUCET 2019 will carry 2 sections. Part A will carry questions from English Language, General Awareness, Mathematical Aptitude and Analytical Skills. While part B will consist of domain knowledge. However, candidates will be able to choose between PCB and PCM related questions while attempting the examination. : For every correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded. While in case of wrong answers, 0.25 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response. Questions not attempted will not be assessed. Apart from this, if a candidate marks multiple entries for a question, it will be treated as the wrong answer.

In case of a candidate who is seeking admission to integrated programmes or any other general programme, he/she will have to attend only one paper comprising of 100 MCQs. The question paper will include English language, reasoning, data interpretations/ numerical ability, general awareness and analytical skills related questions.
