If you have lost the intermediate short memo but still have the long memo, do not worry because, in most cases, the long memo contains your marks and certification. Most institutions and verification processes will, therefore, accept the long memo as proof of your results in that intermediate class. However, some universities or boards might ask for both, so it's wise to check the specific requirements of the university you are applying to.
If required, you can obtain a duplicate short memo from your board of education. Normally, the process involves an application accompanied by an application fee. For this reason, it's wise that you keep all copies of your educational documents and, when possible, have the original short memo reissued in case complications arise in the future.
