Also don't think that you will have any disadvantage for the examination. This is a myth and many people use to think that the arts students are more advantageous to UPSC. But its not true, to score good in UPSC you have to prepare well for UPSC. Now if you are in class 12 then get admission in your college in any course of your choice and start the preparation for your UPSC from the 2nd year of UG (this is the most preferable time, many student also start preparing just after 12).
