It depends upon your category.

If you are UR then you need to score above 550 atleast to get admission in any government colleges in India. However you can get dental government colleges in some states such as Assam ,  Gujarat.

In other hands, if you belong to other category such as obc, sc, st you have far better chabces than UR candidates. You can enjoy quite lot of colleges for your cut off. I have shared a link below which gives information about government colleges in India and its cutoff.
