I m totally confused to join Engineering or Bsc plzz suggest me. I got free engineering seat and got admitted to Bsc..plzz tell me
Hello student,
It actually depends upon the interest & the field ,what a student wants to opt. In the current scenario ,a saturation state of b.tech. degree holders is reached. So B.Tech. engineers are either jobless or they are making attempts for SSC entrance,RRB and other public or private sectors . Though engineering students with their degree from renowned and recognised institutes are always in demand . C.P. University is one of those educational institutes.
B.Sc. students ,on the other hand have wider range of career options.
•Comparatively it is economically viable degree which can be achieved by every class of students very easily ,
• B.Sc. student can enter in IIT Institutes also through IIT-JEM entrance exams, where he/she can go for M.Sc. or M.Sc. - Ph.D. integrated course.
• B.Sc. coupled with B.Ed. degree is an open opportunity for school teaching. It has an additional benefit of less time consumption , as student can complete a graduate degree & a professional degree together in a 4 year duration.
• B.Sc. graduates have advent in competitive exams like SSC , Banking sector ,Railways, education sector etc.
• Infact it is not a low profile course. If student is fully determined , then he can move for higher education and research field also.
• Based on above facts , I recommend the science students , those who are not interested in engineering and want to raise their scientific literacy , to opt B.Sc. or B.Sc- B.Ed. to be a science graduate, secured with a professional degree.
Rest depends on your interest.
Hope this helps.
To choose from bac and engineering, you must think about which field interest you. There are many engineers who are doing well and many who are not doing well despite all the facilities. Even many bsc students are very successful.. So i will suggest you not to go with lamlight of any course rather introspect and find out what interest you the most.. Once you are clear with that you'll take up the decision on your own..
Good Luck
Both are different fields and both have equal advantage. The choice of subject should totally depend on where your interest is If you are interested in engineering then only you should go for it.If you want to do other thing like preparing for various government exams or you want to enter teaching field then you can go with B.Sc. Though you can persue all that with B.tech too but it is a 4 year long study and needs focus too.If you can let me know what you actually want to do further then i would be able to help you in a better way.
