• JEE Mains will be conducted twice a year. This means there will be two attempts.
• Students can choose from the best two.
• The exam will be conducted by National Testing Agency in computer-based mode.
• The first attempt (JEE Mains I) will be from 6-20 January 2019. The application forms will be released from 1 September 2018 and will be available till 30 September 2018.
• The second attempt (JEE Mains II) will be from 6-20 April 2019. The application forms will be released on 8 February 2019.
• The result for JEE Mains I will be declared on 31 January 2019 and JEE Mains II on 30 April 2019.
