See as you said you want to pursue your dream by becoming an IAS officer so as per the current scenario is going on most of the candidate's are qualifying the IAS exam after their BE / B.Tech whether they are from IIT or from Non IIT. But if you want to decrease your load then you can go with the option B.Sc from any of the Science stream and parally prepared well for the IAS entrance exam such thay you might can be able to focus more on that .
