Hi,

No, you will not be eligible to appear for JEE  Advanced 2022 even if you have qualified JEE Main 2022.

This is because a candidate is eligible to appear for JEE Advanced for two consecutive year from the year of passing in the qualifying examination that is 10+2. As you have passed 10+2 in the year 2020 you were eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2020 and you are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2021. You aren't eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. But you are eligible to appear for JEE Main 2022.

A candidate can appear for JEE Main for three consecutive years from the year of passing in the qualifying examination that is 10+2. As you have passed 10+2 in the year 2020 you are eligible to appear for JEE Main 2020, JEE Main 2021 and JEE Main 2022.

Hope this helps.

But sir, in the official jee advanced eligibility criteria,it is clearly mentioned that a candidate can attempt maximum two times in two consecutive year but 'not' mentioned that two consecutive year started counting from year of passing class 12th.so,how 2020 can be my first year while I not apply for exam on that year. Why 2021 and 2022 can not be my two consecutive year?... Sir, I think, according to jee advanced eligibility criteria of 2021,i will be eligible for advanced 2022 as my results was declared after jun 2020.but will the 2022 eligibility criteria be same as 2021 criteria? As like there was a rule in jee advanced 2021 official eligibility criteria that"however if the examination board of class 12th declared the results for the academic year 2018-19 after jun 2019,then the candidates of that board who appeared their class 12th exam in 2019 are also eligible to appear in jee advanced 2021,provided they meet all the other eligibility criteria simultaneously. " So 2019 student Conditionialy can attempt advanced 2021 and it implies that two consecutive years are not started from the hs passing year. Because if it started counting from the passing year then 2019 students can never get any chance to sit in advanced 2021.But my question is will the jee advanced 2022 eligibility criteria remain same as like 2021 advanced? Above Mentioned criteria means 'after jun result case' will be exist or not for jee advanced 2022? And sir when the official eligibility criteria and information brochure will be released on the official site of jee advanced?
..... Plz reply sir..
