Hi Rohit,
As far as I have understood your question is that you have qualified for JEE Advanced this year but you want to attempt that next year through next years JEE Mains.
But the point is, if you have qualified for JEE Advanced this year then why not go for it now itself. Why drop a year unnecessarily??
Giving a drop of one year is successful only if you are very very consistent and rigorous in your studies. So my suggestion to you would be to sit for JEE Advanced this year only, instead of waiting for the next year, Because waiting for one year doesn't give the surity that you will score far better in the next year.
Now, if you want you can attempt JEE Mains next year as well. As the new eligibility criteria of JEE Mains 2019, a candidate can attempt JEE Mains for 3 consecutive years. In each year there are 2 attempts so total a candidate has 6 attempts to appear for JEE Mains.
Hopefully your doubts are cleared. Do comment below for any more queries .
All the best.
you can write jee main again next year and according to its result, it will be decided whether you are eligible for jee advanced or not that is your name will be in merit list if you clear the cut off for next year. You are anyway going to get two consecutive years to write jee advanced; why waste this year. write the exam and check your potential as you are willing to prepare for one year anyway.
