Hi Ashok
Hope you are doing good .
Listen, generally EWS candidates do not get priority in UPSE exam . There are not any quota seats for EWS candidates , they are also considered in the general category . No 10% reservation are allowed for the EWS candidates.
So , I don't think that you need EWS certificate in your UPSC examination.
Here are only reservation given to those candidates which are belongs to OBC, SC, and ST categories.

For the UPSC 2022 examination, you will need the EWS certificate for the Fiscal year 2021-22 i.e., if your EWS certificate is issued after 1st April,2021 & before 31st March,2022 then you can use it for the UPSC 2022. For UPSC 2023, you will need the EWS certificate issued after April 1, 2022 i.e., for the Fiscal year 2022-23. As the EWS certificate is valid for one fiscal year, you need to apply again for the fiscal year 2022-23.
