You can email your query at fellowship.kvpy@iisc.ac.in or call at (080) 22932975 / 76, 23601008, 22933536 . They'll be able to clear your doubt.
You can give KVPY 3 times in your life but all the three attempts will not be of the same level unlike NEET or JEE Advanced. That is you can give KVPY once in 11th, once in 12th and once in first year BSc. And you can give each KVPY exam stream once only.
