I took my 12th board exams in 2024 (English, Maths, Chemistry, Physics, Comp Sci, and Physical Education). I passed overall but got RT in Maths. I took improvement exams for all subjects. I passed Maths and all other subjects in the improvement exams, but failed Physics. Which marks will be considered for my final marksheet? Will my improved Maths score count? Will my original Physics pass be considered since I failed the improvement exam? Will my other improved subject scores be used?
Hello Vikash,
Yes, your improved Maths score will be counted since you passed it in the improvement exam.
For Physics , since you failed in the improvement exam, most boards consider the better of the two scores , meaning your original passing marks in Physics will remain valid .
For other subjects where you improved your score, the best score (either original or improvement) will be considered for the final marksheet.
To confirm, check your board’s official improvement exam policy or contact your school.
