I want pursue my career in clinical psychology. So i should go for Applied psychology or direct clinical psychology please guide me??

Hi Dear. If you want to pursue you carrier in Clinical psychology then go ahead. You can directly apply for clinical psychology. Clinical psychologist today are in great demand in India as well as in abroad.The subject focus on assessment, Diagnosis, Treatment and prevention of mental disorders. Clinical psychologist works in hospital's, NGO's , Academic institutuons, Rehabilitation centers , Old Age homes and even one can pursue private Practice after certain certification. But to practice as a counsellor or clinical psychologist you are advised to be Registered in Rehabilitation Council Of India (RCI).
