I want to apply for civil engineering in mit college

Faculty-
Civil Department is the most student friendly department in MIT. Faculty is very good, especially H.O.D. Prof. Dr. S.Pimplikar sir. Most of the teachers are well experienced and have achieved PhD .

Events-
Most of the college events are managed by civilians because GS of college is always from this department. The best event is “NIRMITEE”- a national level competition for civil engineers ,which is held for 2 days in March month of every year, huge number of students from various parts of state participate in this event. Also there are some other non technical events like Civil Premier League , Bhartiya Chhatra Sansad, SUMMIT -A Sport Competition, etc.

Attendance-
min. 75 % attendance is compulsory per semester to stay out of the defaulters list . If your % is less than this you have to pay fine,but the amount is pretty less than other departments ( Generally from 200 to 500 rs Max).

Library-
There is a separate library for the department with huge collection of books.

civil engg in MIT college is just great ..

Placements-

Placement of Civil dept. was fabulous before 2013 but in recent years its not good at all. As Core companies are recruiting students through GATE exam chances of getting placed on campus are pretty less. But you may surely get a job in an IT company.

But , 4 Years in MIT will definitely be the most enjoying and memorial years of your life. :) Cheeers !!
