Hi Anshika,
Well the choice of field in MBA is probably the best, as Finance is a field in demand as of 2018. But the minimum criteria for CAT is 50+ in graduation. So I would like to tell that you are not eligible for CAT.
But you can try giving SNAP, MAT, CMAT which do not require 50+ in graduation. This can be your way towards MBA in finance.
but you need to study harder and also perform well in GD and PI rounds so as to increase your chances of getting selected in MBA college.
Wish you all the best.
Hello Anshika,
The eligibility criteria for CAT examination is to hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons With Disability (PwD) categories]. Hence, you cannot apply for CAT and further for the colleges that accept only CAT score if you do not fulfill the above criteria.
Fortunately, there is no need to lose hope. There are other good examinations which do not consider graduation score as a part of selection process. These examinations are MAT and CMAT.
