If you want to do UPSC after engineering then you can choose any branch because there is no such branch in engineering which going to help you in UPSC .
So, you need to prepare for UPSC along with your degree or you can prepare after your degree choice is yours.
You can check for UPSC syllabus and prepare according to that , syllabus link is given below :-

But this is syllabus for this year and it can change but only slight change is possible and rest part should remain same , so you can begin your preparation by considering these topics as base .

If you are fully focused on attempting UPSC examination then you need not worry for a particular branch in Engineering. UPSC minimum eligibility is to have a graduation degree which does not mention any necessary branch. \
To make your UPSC preparation easy you should consider taking a branch which seems easy to you, so that it won't bother you much and you would be able to score well in your Engineering academics and prepare for Prelims side by side.
