JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION MAINS (JEE MAINS) - is one of the most reputed exams. Through the JEE mains you can enter the prestigious nits, iiits or gftis of India and other state engineering universities (which accept JEE mains score).
JEE mains is conducted by NTA, and this year it will be a total of 300 brands.
It also has a percentile system, which appeared in the image since 2019, when the NTA took over the cbse. Generally, the jee mains pattern is fixed, but due to covid 19, there are some changes in the jee mains 2021 exam pattern: -
Based on the latest JEE Main 2021 exam pattern, Test 1 will have a total of 90 questions, 25 of each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. And you have to try only 75 questions.
Each subject will have 20 MCQ (for a correct answer you will be rewarded with + 4 points and for each incorrect answer you will get -1) and 10 numerical questions. 5 out of 10 number questions are optional. It means that you can solve 5 questions out of 10.
Numerical questions will not have a negative score.
JEE Main 2021 for test 1 (B.Tech) will be carried out for 300 points, while test 2 (B.Arch / B.Plan) will be carried out separately for 400 points each.
And this year, JEE Main 2021 will be held in 13 regional languages.
After jee mains, jee advanced is retained and you can take that exam only after clearing jee mains limit. And if your rank is good then you can take admission in nits or gftis or iiits etc. And also note that to give jee advanced or take admission in nits or gftis ot iits, your class 12 aggregate must be at least 75%.
