MAT – Management Aptitude Test is conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) four times a year – February, May, September and December. MAT score is accepted by more than 600 B-schools across India. The exam is conducted in both online and offline mode. You can choose to write the exam in both the modes. MAT 2018 September will be held on September 2 in offline mode and September 16 in online mode. The applications will start in the first week of July.
MAT exam has five sections carrying 200 objective or multiple choice questions. The duration is 2.5 hours. The five sections are - Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Language Comprehension, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, and Indian and Global Environment. Each section has 40 questions. Each question has 1 mark.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is conducted four times a year in February, May, September and December, for admissions to MBA/PGDM programmes at various management institutes.
MAT score is accepted by more than 600 B-schools across India. Some of the institutes which accept the MAT score:
Amity University, Delhi-NCR
Apeejay School of Management, New Delhi
Asia Pacific Institute of Management, Delhi
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Usha & Lakshmi Mittal Institute of Management, New Delhi
Birla Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida
All India Management Association (AIMA) will conduct the MAT 2018 September exam in both offline (paper-pencil) and online (computer-based) mode on September 2 and September 16, 2018 respectively. The application process will start in the first week of July 2018 and will continue until August 25, 2018. Candidates can choose to write the exam in both modes. The duration of MAT exam is 150 minutes (2 hours and 30 minutes) and will be conducted from 10 AM to 12.30 PM. The admit card will be available from August 26 and September 8, 2018 for offline and online mode respectively.
The eligibility criteria for the exam are given below:
Candidates must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university or Institute.
Final year graduation students can also apply for MAT. However, they have to submit documents as a proof of completion of graduation within the prescribed time.
There is no age limit prescribed to appear for MAT.
