Hello,

The admission in IIT is given based on merit in JEE Advanced. In order to appear in JEE Advanced you need to appear in JEE main first and qualify in it.Candidates who qualify in JEE main by scoring the minimum cut off marks will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced. You need to secure a rank in top 500 to have decnt chances of getting seat in CSE in IIT.
