hi,
see in bsc course of zoology you have to study the majority syllabus of zoology, however zoology can not be completed with out studying biology and chemistry. since biology is the core discipline , there is many topics in zoology related with biology. however some of the university, it is mandatory to take two optional subject along with your core discipline. in some of the university like christ university, bsc course is provided on zoology, chemistry and biology where the syllabus is integrated.
hope you may understand.
