Fashion designing is sometimes miss understood from designing and detailing of the fabric up till the make of the garment.
If your prefer surface ornamentation or want to design fabrics , opt for a bachelors in textile designing.
If you want to design clothes, drapes, and ready to sell or custom design, opt for a bachelors in apparel and fashion technology.
M. Design – Fashion Design (2 Years)
M. Design – Fashion Communication (2 Years)
You can do the same at Jd institute of fashion technology, Pearl Academy of fashion, NIFT, Raffles, and many more.

Hi,
At the postgraduate level in NIFT, you will be offered 3 courses relating to fashion which are M.Des or master in design, M.F.M or master in fashion management and lastly M.FTech or master in fashion technology. All the 3 courses are for a duration of 2 years.
