I was unable to fill counseling form for up NEET for first round, can I register myself in round 2 ?

Hello,

Online registration is necessary for candidates to take part in the counselling procedure. After online registration you have to fill in choice of subjects and Institutions/colleges in order of preference. Once choice is filled in, it can be modified before locking it .If you don’t register and fill in any choice, you will not be allotted any seat. Registered candidates who did not get any seat allotment in the 1st round can go for 2nd round of allotment.

Candidates eligible for seat allotment in 2nd round would be from one of the following groups:

Group–I: Registered candidates who did not get any seat allotment in the 1st round.

Group-II: Registered candidates who have secured seat under reserved quota & whose 1st round of allotted seat got cancelled during the document verification on reporting for admission will be considered for allotment of seat in the next round of seat allotment, with changed Category, subject to availability of seat in respective category.

Group–III: Candidates who have reported at allotted institute during 1st round of allotment and submitted willingness for second round up-gradation as Yes.

Group- IV: Candidates who have been allotted a seat but Not Joined.

Group V: Candidates who have resigned from the allotted seat of first round at college.

Candidates not eligible for 2nd round would be:

(a) Candidate who has become non eligible due to having inadequate documents

as per Eligibility Criteria. (b) Who have not registered in Round 1 or Round 2.

Hello,

Yes you can register for the second round of counselling. The Last date to register for the second round is November 23, 2020. Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Lucknow, also known as UPDGME has released the counselling schedule of UP MBBS 2020 counselling. The counselling process of NEET will be conducted in a total of three rounds including a mop-up round.  A link to register for UP BBS/BDS admission 2020 was available till November 8. After the first round is finished the link for the second round will be provided in the official website.
