My eye vision +1.25 can I join merchant Navy ??

The vision must be 6/6 as per the DG Shipping standards. These days they do allow glasses but you could opt for a lasik operation to correct your vision and apply for marine engineering. there are conditions for the sight test and it is mandatory through authorised doctors.
