Hello,

You can also do self-preparation on your own, not every student can opt for coaching because of various reasons, but the thing here is self-discipline, one needs to motivate oneself time and again, as I told you before banking exam is all about speed, accuracy and practice, especially in case of PO, the Quant and Reasoning sections are tough and nowadays for English too , a good grasp over the language is important. There's no point in dwelling on the past, so try to live in the present, start your preparation with right attitude and mindset , that you have taken an initiative towards your dreams, we all can provide you words of wisdom, but eventually it's you only who have to do the work.

Start with small steps like going through free mock papers available at various competitive exam sites, even without prior preparation, you can try to attempt it just to evaluate what are the areas you're comfortable with and others you're struggling with.

Make a timetable, and accordingly devote each section. After learning the basic concepts, try to practice it through books or sample paper so that you can know how much questions you can solve.

Start reading newspaper on a daily basis, especially focus on editorial parts, the best option is The Hindu, or The Indian Express, for business/economic part The Economics Times/ Business Insider. In recent years, many RCs have directly been taken from The Hindu, so don't miss this part at all.

One important thing I want to mention here that we all have our own struggles in life, there are moments of not so good feeling, doubts or uncertainty about future, trust me each of us go through our share of ups and down, but don't give up ever, have belief in yourself even if no one else has, focus on building a healthy relationship with yourself first, so that even if you falter you will again make attempt to rise all over again and be kind to yourself, saying negative things ain't gonna help, it'll just make you more weak emotionally.

If you want to know about anything else regarding banking exams, do mention in the comment box below.
