i would like to know that if have pass in both bio and maths them there marks will added in my overall percentage or not & if i am fail in additional subject then it will effect my % or not

so according to cbse 5 subject rule for boards exam 2024-25. my additional subject is information technology. if i got good marks in 5 subject and low in one subject say maths . Thn my maths mark is replaced by marks of IT. will i get a topper rank?

Answer 1

Hello, The percentage is calculated for all the subjects the board has conducted exams. Even if you have not appeared for an exam your percentage for that particular subject will be taken as 0 and your percentage for the total subjects will be calculated. If you pass in the next attempt then your marksheet shows your new percentage only.
