Iam belongs to Veerashaiva lingayat caste in state level ,we have BC-D reseravation.In central list they have recently removed .I have qualified in gpat under obc reservation.can i eligible to apply EBC certificate for further studies(m.pharm).

Hey,

You don't have to worry. As far as you have your category certificate with you I don't think you might face any problem.. If your BC-D category ahs been removed from the central list and you have the provision of getting your OBC certificate made then I believe you can get the benefit of reservation everywhere where it's given.

You must have a valid OBC certificate before applying anywhere under the OBC category.

Hlo sir,
I am also from Veera shaiva lingayath.i'm very much confused about my caste.i'm from Karnataka and our parents settled in telangana.the caste in my mother caste certificate is bc-d.but the people will consider from our father's.from my father side my sister i.e.my big father's daughter caste is different.it is obc 3b .
