Hope you're doing good as you must be invented civil services examination is the most toughest examination which is conducted by UPSC at National level.
This exam consists of three stages:
- Preliminary examination which is of objective type
- Mains examination which is of written type
- The last one interview
The first stage which is civil services preliminary examination is for screening and conducted to shortlist candidates for Mains examination. It consists of two compulsory papers of 200 marks each in which candidate got 2 hours for each papers and can give the paper in bilingual language Hindi or English. Consists 2 paper the syllabus is generally from general studies like current events of national and international importance history of India India and world geography Indian Polity and governance economic and social development sustainable development general issues on environmental ecology and general science also in the general studies paper 2nd comprehension interpersonal skills including communication skills logical reasoning decision making general mental ability basic numeracy upto class 10 came and the candidate must attend 33% in the second paper.
