Medical candidates in West Bengal are required to obtain a domicile certificate in order to be eligible for admission via the 85% state quota.
There are three types of domicile certificate issued, based on the candidate's residential status.
One of the types is such that the candidate has completed class 12 from a different state but parents are a resident of West Bengal ( have a home in WB).
So yes, you are eligible for applying in the medical colleges of WB under 85% state quota.

No, if you're eligible for admission in the college of your choice, you'd have no problem getting admission. Your eligibility is on the basis of the NEET marks and the cut off for the collgeges that you have applied to. Hello Aspirant! I had myself applied under the domicile that I mentioned above in my answer.I have done my class 12 from another state. By parents have a home in West Bengal. I used my mother's name to obtain a domicile whose passport, voter card and Aadhar card, all are registered from WB.
