If a student have passion but due have a poor percentage Willie get chance in abroad studies?
Hello Soham,
For applying to a foriegn university, a candidate requires a number of different things as a part of the college application and percentage is only one aspect of the same. The percentage is mostly used as a filter while selecting students i.e. the university/college only accepts applications with a specific percentage or more.
However, if you display an ardent passion for a specific field of study and manage to draft an SOP which delineates the same, then you may be able to persuade the admission committee to overlook the percentage aspect of your application. This means that you must display passion as well as proof of the same (such as extra-curricular and co-curricular activities, accolades, competitive awards, related publications etc). Apart from this, the remaining aspects of your application must also be strong enough to compensate for the lack of percentage. Therefore, it certainly is possible to get admission abroad but you need to display commendable skill in other areas in order to achieve this.
Hey Soham,
It is based on university. To get admission in a good university and scholarships you need to maintain a good GPA, and else if you are interested to pay the total fee without any scholarships then you need to score well in IELTS/TOEFL or other elgible exams.
