Yes b.tech can be done after 12th but some people also do b.tech after b.sc which is not at all waste because doing b.sc and b.tech makes an individual more skill full with more in depth knowledge also b.tech is different from b.sc be it same course then also b.tech is a course where we learn practical of theory where in b.sc the main objective is to study the subject more in depth there you don't get practical or industrial exposure as b.tech gives.Doing btech after b.sc may result in higher package

i hope you are doing well

so sakshi i do not think doing B.tech after b.Sc will be waste , as after completing your B.Sc you can take lateral entry in B.tech programme and then your complete graduation will be of total 6 years and what i think you will have plenty of knowledge in field of science and B.tech will help you to get a good job.
