if I choose float option and in the next round we get higher preference college then can I still have that seat which we got before choosing the float option?

No, if you choose float option then you will get the best seat possible based on your rank and choice filling which means if your rank is eligible to get a better college or better branch than the previous one, then you will be allotted a new seat and the seat which you had before will be gone.
