Hello,

One of the important thing you have to understand is that only if you qualify prelims and mains you'll appear for interview, so in that sense you have made achievements with your self-efforts and this is something you have to keep in mind, and this is important as well for your self-confidence, now coming to your question the board members may ask you about your academic record, but this is just one aspect of personality test, you have qualified the earlier two exams to be able to appear before the panel, and they will not judge you merely based on your academic records, personality test includes a lot of things, so prepare well on your background, home town, your graduation subject is extremely important, so many times people fail to qualify answer from their own subject, so in a way you can prepare well on this, so that they can get to know about your ability, knowledge that goes beyond your unsuccessful attempts at one time during your college, you should news paper on a daily basis as you'll be asked a lot of questions pertaining to prevailing situations, of national and international importance, other than this you don't have to bother much, upsc has candidates coming from diverse backgrounds, so focus on empowering yourself on those areas where you can, and leave things that are not in your control, doing this will enable you to focus on better things.

All the very best!

There shouldn't be any problem. You will be providing your degree and the Overall Grade percentage or GPA. They will just acknowledge that , they have no need to go through you all the three years result.

Don't take stress! There will be no problem.

I hope my answer helps you. All the very best for your future endeavors!

Hey!

UPSC actually sees whatever you are at the time of interview. but your past do imply what your character is. so it is some what problematic.

but since it is only 1st semester, had you maintained a good GPA in otehr sem, then you can prove your worth. and also if you can justify your failure, you can prove it. but since it is same subject and thrice, it is a problem.

but if you have good grades later in the college, then you are all good to get selected.

good luck
