Last year cut off was so high well cut off depends upon thes factors-
Number of candidates appeared for exam
Difficulty level of exam
Total seats available,
Apart from these cast category also determines the cut off.

Well if you score 550 ,certainly there is hope of getting good medical college but can certainly say about government.

Hello there!
Cut off varies every year depending upon various factors, a score of 550 is good but to be on safer side you need a score above 600. You might not get a set through all India 15% qouta but you might secure a seat thorough state qouta depending upon the domicile state.
You can also check previous year cut offs to get an idea. This year as Aiims and JIPMER are merged with NEET there are chances that cut off might dip alittle.
