if i get a 75 percent in 12th board exams will i be placed in IIT or NIT?
75% aggregate in qualifying exam is the eligibility criteria to be eligible to get admission in IITs/NITs/IIITs. The admission in NITs is based on merit in JEE main and for admission to IITs it is based on marks scored in JEE advanced so scoring 75% in class 12th will not help you to get admission in NIT or IIT. You need to apply for JEE main and appear for it and qualify in it to get admission in NIT and candidates qualifying JEE main will be eligible to appear for JEE advanced you need to qualify JEE Advanced to get seat in IITs.
If you are preparing for JEE main 2021 then you can use our JEE main knockout to help you with the preparation

Hi. 75% is only a criteria which needs to be fulfilled to clear the eligibility criteria of getting a seat in NIT and IIT. You need to give the JEE MAINS exam to be eligible to get a seat in NIT and the JEE ADVANCED exam to be eligible to get a seat in IIT.
Regards.
hello aspirant
with 75 % in 12 boards exam , it cannot be decided . however if you got minimum 75 % in 12 boards ( pcm ) you can apeear for jee exam then after your rank will decide that you will get admission in IIT or NIT ? your skills and your hardwork will decide your placement . if you want good placement you have to study well in btech ( IIT or NIT or any other college).
so it doesnt depends on 12 board directly or independently , it depends on your knowledge , skills etc.
All the best.
Hello Aspirant,
Admission in NIT or IIT is not based on your board marks. For taking admission in NIT or IIT you have to qualify Jee mains exam to get admission in NIT and then you have to qualify Jee advanced exam to get seat in IIT.
Your board 75% is only the qualifying that you can now give Jee mains examination. If you get less than 75% in boards then you are not eligible to write jee mains exam.
Hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
