If I get an MBBS seat in NEET AIQ quota (MBBS /BDS) Am I eligible to participate in state quota?? ((I am from Telangana state and our state registration is done but still choice filling and other steps are not done. So I am expecting a BDS seat in AIQ Round-2 and I didn't get any seat in Round-1.))

Hello aspirant!

You can participate for round one counselling in both your state and all India counsellings and if you do not get a college of your choice you can proceed to round two in any one(either AIQ or state counselling) based on where you think u have more chance of getting a seat

Suma Sakile Thank you!! I have already registered for my state counselling. Now I have locked choices for AIQ Round-2. If I get seat in MBBS/BDS in Round-2 then will I be able to apply for Round-1 State counselling? Should I leave the seat I got in Round-2 of AIQ for that?? I hope you reply back.

Suma, while you can participate in both Round 2 and State Counselling, you should make a conscious decision as to which Counselling would you like to participate. Because if you participate in Round 2 of AIQ and secure a seat and likewise in State Counselling and if you opt to go for the seat allotted in the State Counselling, you will have to forgo the security deposit that you paid for AIQ.

Hi
If you are alloted a seat via All India Quota and you want to take part in state counselling then you have to register yourself for state counselling.
If you have already got a college under All India Quota then unfortunately you have to leave that college first in order to take admission via 85% state quota.
And let me first clear that- If you still have enough time to register for counselling in your state then do it as soon as possible because then only you will be able to do Choice filling and locking.
You can't fill choices if you have not registered in counselling.
Best of luck
