Yes, indeed. 60% in PCM aggregate is the ideal common cutoff standard for most of the engineering colleges of India. This fact however exempts prestigious colleges like IITs, BITS Pilani the likes of which require a minimum of 75% in PCM aggregate of boards or the presence in top 20 percentile of the respective board.
