They will start their Btech from second year directly.

Yes, you can take Computer Science Engineering having a diploma in Computer Science through lateral entry. All you need to do is select a good college and take admission in it as lateral entry through counseling process and start B.TECH from 2nd year onwards!

Yes you definitely can get admission in lateral entry btech colleges as you have done diploma in computer science engineering.You can directly get admission into the 2nd year of btech via lateral entry.You have to first search out the colleges list to get admission into btech l.e course and apply for these accordingly.
