if my previous yr score is 525 in gate cs and this year score is491 in gate cs which score should i use for councelling?

Defenitely you have to use the best of the two that is 52.5,as the gate score is having a three year validity. GATE Score validity means that:
You can use GATE score for
Admission in M.tech with that score for next three years for example if you qualify gate 2019,you can take admission in 2019,20,or21.
