hello,
if your son gets around 300 marks in neet, you should be happy first of all at the first place that he/she has scored such marks in first/second attempt.
if you are happy with the marks and you want to check for colleges in which your son is eligible then you should appear for counselling rounds and get the admission done.
or else, if you want him to score more marks (which should be preferred), you can ask him to drop for one year and prepare for the exam once again, he will try his best to score better marks this time and he can get better colleges which will affect the career and placements as well.
NEET is a national exam, it's not easy for a student to score good marks and get a good college.
you have to understand the difficulties he may face during the exams.
hope that helps
all the best
Hello Aspirant,
To qualify in NEET examination he need to score the 50th percentile . if he get 300 marks, he is most likely to qualify the exam and would be eligible to apply in the medical colleges where cutoff marks are 300 or below. To get top medical colleges you need to score more than 550 marks in NEET UG .
Hope this helps !!
