If we try for mcc.. by applying few colleges and if we get the college at 5 th priority in second or mop up round.. then is it compulsory to take admission in that college.. can we further apply for state counseling also after that?
Hello Aspirant ,
In the All India Quota counselling if you get a seat in round 1 and wish to leave that for a better seat in state counselling then you may proceed without losing your security deposit because of the free exit option . But when it comes to round 2 , if you leave the allotted seat but your security deposit fee will not be refunded ,on the other hand if you join that seat then you are not allowed to resign it . Now coming to the mop-up round , you will be eligible to take part in it only if you were not allotted seat in round 1 or 2 .If at all you happen to attend the mop-up round and is allotted a seat , then you cannot leave that seat , if you do, then you will not be allowed to take part in state counselling for next two years.I suggest you to read the counselling guidelines thoroughly from the official website before going for the counselling process.
