I'm in final year of my graduation,if I'm eligible for ssc cgl what I choose to select passed or appearing

Hello,

As per the eligibility criteria laid out by SSC for CGL exam of 2021, you can only appear for it if your results of graduation gets declared by 23rd January, 2022

you said you're in final year of graduation, if you have already appeared for the last year exams, and results are likely to get declared within the stipulated time frame, then only you can fill in the application form, and select "appearing" for the same, in case your exams are yet to be conducted then you cannot fill this recently released SSC CGL 2021 application form,

generally speaking the eligibility criteria for SSC CGL is passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, other than this the eligibility criteria of three specific posts are as follows-

Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer : essential qualification is bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university, desirable qualification is ca/cma/cs/mcom/mba(finance),masters in business economics and masters in business studies

Junior Statistical Officer : Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 60% marks in maths at 10+2 level or graduation in any subject with statistics as a subject in all the three years of graduation.

Statistical Investigator Grade II ; Bachelor's degree in any discipline with statistics as a subject in all the three years of graduation.

Hello Abhishek,

Staff Selection commission conducts CGL exam that is Combined Graduate Level Exam every year to recruit Group b and Group C officers to various government departments and ministries.

The SSC has already released the detailed information about the CGL 2022 on its website and eligibilty criteria to appear for the same. The three important factors of eligibility are nationality, educational qualifications and age.

The eligibility for the exam is as follows :-

Nationality - Indian

Age - 18 to 32 years

Education - Graduation( minimum)

Candidates applying for this exam must be 18 years and not more than 32 years as on 1August 2022. The students who have passed thier graduation can apply and also students who are in the final year of their degree program can also apply for the same. So, you are very much eligible for this exam and if you are appearing then mention appearing on the form otherwise passed.

Hello Aspirant,

See if you appeared for your final year examinations but your result of final year exams has not been declared then currently you will be considered in your final year of graduation and you have to selecte the option "Appearing" otherwise if you got your result then you have to select as "Passed".


Other than educational qualification a candidate should satisfy the given eligibility criterion in order to appear for SSC CGL :-


****** Candidate should be a citizen of India or

  • subject of Nepal/ Bhutan,
  • Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1963 with the intention of permanently settling in India,
  • person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

****** Age of the candidate should be in between 18 and 32 years. Age relaxation is also there for different categories as given below :-

  • SC, ST - 5 years
  • OBC - 3 years
  • PwD + General - 10 years
  • PwD + OBC - 13 years
  • PwD + SC/ST - 15 years
  • Ex-Servicemen (ESM) - 3 years
  • Defence Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof - 3 years
  • Defence Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof (SC/ST) - 8 years
  • Candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 1st January 1980 to 31st December 1989 - 5 years
  • Central Govt. Civilian Employees who have rendered not less than 3 years regular and continuous service as on closing date for receipt of application. - Up to 40 years of age
  • Central Govt. Civilian Employees (SC/ST) who have rendered not less than 3 years regular and continuous service as on closing date for receipt of application. - Up to 45 years of age
  • Widows/ Divorced Women/ Women judicially separated and who are not remarried. - Up to 35 years of age
  • Widows/ Divorced Women/ Women judicially separated and who are not remarried (SC/ST). - Up to 40 years of age
