Hello aspirant. Yes, students from any state can participate in the counselling process of Telangana and secure a seat in medical colleges based on their marks scored in NEET. There is a division of seats under the category A, B and C-
Category A seats consists of government seats, also known as covenor seats. Only the domiciled candidates can be eligible for these seats.
Category B seats are also known as management quota seats and fee structure is comparitively high. (13-15 lakhs)
Category C seats is for NRI students and yearly fee is around 30-40 lakhs.
Hence, if a student from another state wishes to take admission in private medical colleges in Telangana, he/she needs to participate in the state counselling. No, there is no special category for Andhra Pradesh students- every student from another state in private colleges will come under Category B.
