Dear Student ,

There are two options to become a good Software Engineer as per academic degree .

1. Through B.Tech
2. Through MCA

For B.Tech , you need to have a basic skill of mathematics as well as for MCA too. There are some important topics in Math without which you can't understand some programming or algorithm based few logics .

If you are in class 12 now, so I would recommend you to brush up your skills in Maths to smooth your career in Software Engineering after Graduation/ Masters

Hi there,

It is okay if you are not good at maths or you are not comfortable in mathematics.

But it is important to know some basics of mathematics because it will help you in solving problems  which are required in placements.

Software engineers are tested on their problem solving skills and how they optimize the codes in order to make the program more efficient so focus more and once you dive into programming you will get your maths comfortable.

So dobot worry and do whatever you like.

It completely depends upon you. Some part of Mathematics knowledge is required only.
