If you are interested in engineering and navy both you can choose mechanical branch in your engineering program and after completing your course you can get into GME course which is basically one year program giving a direct entry into shipping industry.

There are other options as well you can opt for Marine Engineering. You can opt for electrical engineering and you can join Merchant Navy as electrical training officer.

If you want to keep both options open then mechanical branch has very good scope in the future in terms of jobs. It is core branch of engineering.

At Last, it totally depends on your interest and passion which branch you choose.

All the Best!!
