Improvement is possible for board CBSE for admission NITS AND IITS

Yes, you can appear for improvement examinations in CBSE board. You can give as many papers you want and improve your performance. But, IITs and NITs won't give you admission if you do not meet their 75% in boards criteria. So, you have to appear for boards again and apply next year into these colleges. Best of luck.
