in countries such as UK, US and Finland is it possible to get a college degree in a subject you didin't study in high school. if so could I take up zoology in said countries without having it in high school

It is not possible to get a college degree on a subject you didn't study in college. You are asking question like Can I get become a Computer Engineering without studying Computers. You should have prior knowledge before going to a particular stream / subjects.
