MHTCET entrance examination is for taking admissions in Engineering and Pharmaceutical Courses across Maharashtra State.

The admit card for this entrance examination will release on 25th April 2019. So the final date of the examination can be known only through the admit card.

The schedule for the examination is as follows :-

90 Minutes :- Physics + Chemistry (100 Questions, 100 Marks) [50 questions in Physics, 50 questions in Chemistry]

90 Minutes :- Mathematics (50 Questions, 100 Marks)

90 Minutes :- Biology (100 Questions, 100 Marks)

Note that there are slots of the subjects. Since you have applied for PCMB I would suggest you to appear for PCM along with Biology. Even if you're sure you want to take admission in engineering there will be no harm if you appear for Biology also, since you have taken Biology in your Boards. At the time of admission in engineering only PCM marks will matter.

So it's better that you appear for all of the subjects.

Thankyou for the answer. I would actually not write bio as I have neet on 5th May. Will it be perfectly alright if I just do pcm paper and completely not attend/attempt for biology since it is I guess divided in sections with break of 15 mins ??

Yes you are right there's a break of 15 mins in between. As you have mentioned that you are giving NEET also then I would strongly suggest you for giving Biology examination in MHT-CET also as it will cause you no harm and the chances of getting admission in your interested field can be increased.Still it's your call to decide whether to give Biology examination or not. During the time of admission it will appear as absent in Biology if you will not give it because at the time of application you have chosen all the four.
